    Make deep cuts into the chicken pieces so the marinade can soak in.

    Mix yogurt, ginger garlic paste, tandoori masala, chilli powder, lemon juice and salt into a marinade.

    Coat the chicken thoroughly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight.

    Grill or bake at high heat, basting with melted butter, until charred at the edges and cooked through.

  5. 5

    Rest for a few minutes, then serve with lemon wedges and sliced onion.
